• Appropriately State-Certified Staff 

    In compliance with ESSA, Highlands School District is notifying parents that all Highlands professional staff and paraprofessionals are appropriately state-certified. Parents may request information regarding the professional qualifications of their children’s classroom teachers and of the paraprofessionals who provide instructional services to their children. Parents will be notified if their child is assigned to or being taught for four or more consecutive weeks by a teacher who is not appropriately state-certified in a core academic subject.
