FALL SPORTS PHYSICALS REMINDER: Fall Sports Physicals will be held this Friday, August 14 from 1-4 PM in the Athletic Trainer’s room at the High School. Students are also permitted and encouraged to get their physicals at their own doctor's office or medical facility if possible prior to the start of the fall sports season. INTERNET ESSENTIALS PROGRAM: Comcast continues to make it easier for low-income families in Comcast service areas to connect to the internet through INTERNET ESSENTIALS. New Internet Essentials customers will receive two free months of Internet service if they enroll in the program by December 31, 2020.
RESOCIALIZATION OF ATHLETICS GUIDELINES: The COVID-19 pandemic has presented all Athletic Departments with countless challenges. The Highlands School District will take the necessary precautions and recommendations from the federal, state, and local governments, CDC, Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH), as well as the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS), and Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) to safeguard the participants and staff of our athletic programs. Please review the district's Resocialization of Athletics Guidelines, which were approved by the School Board on June 22, 2020.
