Pre-K Counts Registration
Parents wishing to have their children participate in the Highlands Pre-K program must complete an online new student registration for their child. Additionally, parents must complete an income verification to become eligible for entrance into the program.
Age Requirements & Documents Needed for Registration
Students must meet age requirements to particpate in the Pre-K program. Children must be 3 or 4 years of age on or before September 1.
The following documents are needed for the registration process:
Two Forms of Proofs of Residency
Acceptable documents: a deed, lease, current utility bill (within 30 days), current credit card bill, property tax bill, vehicle registration, driver's license, DOT identification card
Income Verification
Acceptable documents: paystub, W2, tax return
Proof of Age
Acceptable documents: birth certificate, baptismal certificate, copy of record of baptism, notarized or certified and showing DOB, notarized statement from parent, passport, prior school records showing DOB
Student Immunization Records
Acceptable documents: child's immunization record, written statement from the former school district or medical office that required immunizations have been administered, or that a required series is in progress
Steps to Registration
- Pre-K student registration is completed through online registration.
- Parents must complete an Income verification form to be eligible for the program
