About 500 people attended Highlands Middle School's 3rd Annual "Spring Fling" Parent Engagement Night on Wednesday, March 12 - the largest attendance to date for this event!

The fun-filled event featured concessions, prize baskets, PSSA and local assessment info, a book fair, Makerspace activities, science and art displays, and a student-made items sale that benefited the school's PBIS program.

Also making their rounds throughout the evening were the lovable and spirited Pittsburgh sports mascots - the Pirate Parrot, Pierogies and Steely McBeam. Students also had the chance to participate in the culminating event on the school track, a Spring Fling Race against the mascots!
