On Saturday, March 8, 2025, the Highlands High School auditorium was filled with energy, excitement, and the power of music as 61 students in grades 3-8 participated in an interactive Musical Theater Workshop alongside the talented HHS Cast of FOOTLOOSE!
In just two hours, these young performers showcased hard work, dedication, and incredible enthusiasm as they learned vocals and choreography to the iconic theme song of FOOTLOOSE. It was truly inspiring to witness the leadership, passion, and maturity of our high school cast as they guided and encouraged the next generation of performers within the Highlands School District.
This workshop was more than just a rehearsal—it was a transformational experience for our students. The best way to grow a thriving program is by inspiring young minds and sharing the magic of musical theater. Events like this highlight how music and the performing arts play a vital role in education, creativity, and personal growth during students' formative years.
