LOVE is in the air ~~~ love for tacos that is! ❤️🌮 But, please, please do not let the dragons in the Dragons Love Tacos book eat any spicy salsa! Oh no...too late! They found it hidden in Miss Melissa McCurdy’s bag of Valentines. ❤️😍 Hope they stick around long enough to help clean up her room!
About the "Bite into Books" Program
Throughout the school year, Mrs. Susan Wilson, the youth services librarian at the Community Library of Allegheny Valley visits each second grade class for a 45-minute lunch period program, "Bite into Books". Students listen to her read the book Dragons Love Tacos while enjoying their lunch, then create a hands-on craft and sample a snack related to the story. The goal is to create the love and enjoyment of books through a school-community connection in an engaging environment that fosters a lifelong love of reading! 📚📖
