On Nov. 18, guest speakers from the African Studies Department at the University of Pittsburgh visited Mrs. Kala Lenart's and Mr. Ben Wolford's 7th Grade World Cultures classes at the Middle School. Ms. Susan Ngbabare of South Sudan and Ms. Faraja Ngogo of Tanzania shared East African culture with the 7th graders, teaching them about cultural expectations of the region, common traditions, cuisine and dance. They even learned several phrases in the Swahili language!
