Highlands High School and Middle School students were recognized for achieving the highest level of academic excellence at Academic Honors Celebrations on May 6 and May 13, respectively.
HIGH SCHOOL
The 117 High School students honored have met one of the following criteria for the 2023-24 school year:
Grades 9-12: 96% or higher or among the Top 10 in their grade level
Grades 10-12: Outstanding Career Technology Education Student (Forbes CTC)
The students received an honors cord and a certificate of achievement. A different color cord is given for each grade level, with the ultimate goal of earning four of them to wear as a senior on graduation day.

MIDDLE SCHOOL
The 86 Middle School students honored have met the following criteria:
Students in Grade 5 have earned 95% or higher, and students in Grades 6-8 have earned 96% or higher for the 2023-24 school year.
The students received an award for their achievement.
