Highlands Early Childhood Center Kindergarten & full-day Pre-K students were joined by Highlands Middle School grades 5-8 students to celebrate Read Across America in March. Focusing on the literary works of award-winning author and illustrator Eric Carle, the students worked in small groups with the Middle Schoolers to hear a story, make a craft, share a snack, and color a bookmark.
