Highlands Elementary School's March Buddy Classroom activities featured a reading of the book, How to Catch a Leprechaun, followed by a STEM activity of building a leprechaun trap! The concept of the school's "buddy classroom" is to have the 1st grade and 3rd grade students work together and the 2nd grade and 4th grade students work together to help to promote friendship, better support of coursework, behavioral and social needs, and help foster a greater sense of belonging and a more inclusive school community.
