During May's National Teacher Appreciation Week, Highlands Middle School Library Media Specialist Jennifer Kosior had the distinct honor of being one of 100 inspiring teachers nationwide (out of 7,900 applicants!) selected to participate in the Disney Imagination Campus for bringing creativity and imagination to life in her curriculum.
Held at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, Kosior had the chance to be in the spotlight during a celebratory parade down Main Street, U.S.A. She also took part in a Disney Imagination Campus workshop experience with sessions led by Disney leaders and Imagineers.
Currently a Library Media Specialist at the Middle School, Kosior is in her 20th year of teaching at Highlands. Through the years, she’s taught social studies and math, and was an inaugural member of the Google Technology Coach Certification Program (formerly the Dynamic Learning Project) at the Middle School.
