Middle School Honors Top Achievers


Ninety-two Highlands Middle School students were recognized for achieving the highest level of academic excellence at the annual Academic Honors Celebration on Monday, May 15. Participating in the awards ceremony were Middle School Principal Becky Bragan, MS Assistant Principal Cory Sakolsky, Dean of Students Katie Jo Stobert, and Superintendent Dr. Monique Mawhinney, who delivered the Academic Address.

Middle School Library Media Specialist Jennifer Kosior and the award recipients created a special slide show presentation for the event that showcased the students and their interests.

Students honored have met one of the following criteria for the cumulative three quarters of the 2022-23 school year:

Grade 5: 95% or higher 

Grades 6-8: 96% or higher
