Celebrating Countries & Culture

In support of International Education Week (Nov.14-18), our AFS exchange students shared information about their country and culture with the Highlands High School World Language, World Cultures, and International Business classes this past Thursday. International Education Week is a joint initiative of the US Department of State and the US Department of Education that aims to “promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences".
Our six Highlands AFS exchange students and one North Hills High School AFS exchange student participated, including:

IT'S NOT TOO LATE to apply to host a semester student who will be coming in early to mid-January until June. Interested families are able to look at applications and ‘meet the students’ who are still available to host at the link below.
