Parents/Guardians: Please Complete the Instructional Model Survey by July 22
July 14, 2021
As we prepare for the 2021-2022 school year, we need to know the instructional model you want for your students. The Highlands School District Task Force is recommending 5 days of in-person instruction for students. As stated in the Health and Safety Plan, which was approved by the Highlands School Board this week, masks for students and staff will be optional.
We understand, however, that some parents may still be uncomfortable with having their students return to in-person learning. Therefore, the district will continue to offer the Highlands Virtual Academy (HVA). Students in grades Pre K-6 will work from the Accelerate Learning Platform, and students in grades 7-12 will work from the Edgenuity Learning Platform. Please take a few minutes to respond to the survey below.
If you have more than one child in the district, please complete a survey for each of them.
The survey will close on July 22, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
If you do not complete a survey for your child/children, they will be scheduled for the 5 day in-person instructional model.
