High School PBIS Team Rewards School Year Attendance

In an effort to recognize that school attendance matters, Highlands High School students' presence in the classroom and online were rewarded throughout year by the school's Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) Team. At the end of the 2020-21 school year, about 250 students who met the year's attendance criteria were treated to an ice cream social in the courtyard, complete with music from teacher/DJ Mr. Tyler Kirin and raffled prizes. Also assisting with the event were HHS teachers Mrs. Faith Foster, Mrs. Renae Yoder, Mrs. Jordan Murdock, Ms. Kathy Black and Mr. James Doran. Way to go!
