HPN Community Learning Hubs Support District Students, Families
4-15-21
Thanks to grant funding, the Highlands Partnership Network was able to provide three valuable Community Learning Hubs for Highlands Kindergarten through Grade 4 students enrolled in the district's Hybrid program this year. Equipped with a program coordinator, four site managers with teaching certification and six learning aides, the learning hubs consistently supported about 40 students and families since October. This service helped all of the families resume work schedules while their children attended "school" at the learning hubs.
Please view the following presentation created by Allegheny Family Network Community Development Specialist and Learning Hub Program Coordinator Misty Chybrzynski Woody, which was shared with the Highlands School Board at the agenda meeting on April 12, 2021.
