HHS Students Participate, Place in Regional DECA Competition
Fourteen Highlands High School DECA students competed virtually in the DECA District 3 Regional Competition against high schools from Bethel Park, Norwin, Freeport and Trinity in December.
Four Highlands students earned top placements in the competition and will advance to the virtual state competition in February. Congratulations to:

2nd Place Team – Travel & Tourism
Also participating in the competition were Cody Reynolds, Allie Gillette, Sara Karns, Sydney Carnahan, Hannah Blythe, Fatama Shareef, Cammy Carnahan, Gabby Wright, Jazmine Strader and Dan Thimons. Highlands DECA advisor is Mr. Zac Wells.
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. The high school division of DECA includes 220,000 members in 3,700 schools.
