• UPDATE - MARCH 12, 2020

The health, safety and well-being of our students, staff and families is a top priority at our schools. The coronavirus outbreak is filled with ever-changing information, and we are committed to providing regular communication, with prompt updates, regarding important health-related information to our families. We will be taking guidance from the Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD), PA Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

In creating policies and procedures related to the coronavirus, we join people from around the world who are working through this challenging time. While there is much we do not know, our focus will be on the steps we can take to protect our students and staff.

In an effort to be proactive and prepare in the event of a school closure due to the spread of the virus, it is important that we are able to contact you quickly. The District will keep families updated by sending letters home and posting information on our website. However, the use of email allows for more immediate information and updates to be communicated.

We are developing a plan to continue educating our students should school be closed for any length of time and need to determine student access to technology at home. Please complete the enclosed survey for your family and return it to one of your child’s teachers as soon as possible. You may also complete the online Technology Access Survey.

Please know that our actions are to protect our community from the spread of COVID-19.

As more information surfaces, we will share it with our families.
