Highlands School District will host its 2nd Annual Veterans Day Celebration on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024 from 8:30am-10:30am at Highlands High School. This invitation-only event will feature breakfast, student music performances and tributes and the Highlands Honored Hero recognition. 

This year, Highlands Middle School students have the opportunity to invite a relative who is a Veteran to this celebratory event. RSVP is required. Please complete the form at the link below no later than Monday, Oct. 28 so we can plan accordingly.

Please Note: On the day of the event, Veterans should begin to arrive by 8:00am at the High School office and present a valid ID for a visitor badge to enter the school.

NOMINATE YOUR VETERAN! 

In addition, Middle School students have the option to nominate their Veteran for this year's Highlands Honored Hero Award by writing a brief essay about why they believe their Veteran should be recognized. Essays will be due by Nov. 4 to their homeroom teacher.
