Thank you for taking the time to visit my homepage!  I want to start by giving you some information about myself.  I graduated from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education.  I am certified to teach grades K-12 in both disciplines.  I earned my master's degree from Indiana University of Pa in 2008 with a master's degree in Sports Science and a concentration in Exercise Science.

I have a great love for physical activity.  I enjoy working out when I have the chance.  My current love has been distance running.  I enjoy running distance races such as 5Ks, 10ks, and 1/2 marathons.

I am always trying to find new, challenging activities that range from sport specific skills and cooperative activities to activities that focus more on the importance of exercise and lifetime physical fitness.   I also try to think of activities my students may want to participate in as they get older such a yoga, dance, etc.  I try to instill discipline and a good work ethic in my students.  Teaching my students to value physical activity or fitness is my top priority.  If you ever have questions please do not hesitate to contact me.  Welcome to physical education!
