Highlands Middle School

Highlands Middle School is designed specifically to allow all children to transition from childhood into adolescence. During these four years, students will be given opportunities to experience many disciplines taught by a strong core of teachers who work together to integrate their courses. The administrators, teachers, and counselors will constructively guide and reinforce each student as he or she explores a changing world and self. This Program of Studies provides an overview of the Highlands Middle School curriculum with brief descriptions of the planned courses for each grade. It also contains information on services provided for students by the School Counseling Department.
