Mrs. Bridgette Jodon & Mrs. Amanda Coulter's class at Highlands Middle School hosted their first Coffee & Cookies event on Tuesday, Dec. 20. Middle School faculty and staff were invited to stop in during their lunch or planning period to enjoy coffee and a special treat!  The students loved hosting and greeting all of their guests.  "It was a wonderful experience for all," said Mrs. Jodon.   

The Coffee & Cookies event created excitement and anticipation for their new endeavor, which is expected to launch in January - The Golden Bean Coffee Shop! "This has been four years in the making and we are excited to implement this into our classroom," said Mrs. Jodon. The students will run every aspect of the coffee shop, which will provide many meaningful learning opportunities. "We couldn't be more excited for our students and the wonderful opportunities this will bring for each of them," she said.
