• RAMS:Being a RAM is a way of life that is expected at Grandview.

Our behavior monitoring system that we use in 5th grade is a clip chart.  Students are asked to clip up or down depending on their behavior, work ethic, and ability to make appropriate choices.
Students that are working like RAMS may clip up, up to two times.  The highest clip up earns a Golden RAMS Gram.  This is a note home that lets you know that your child has done a great job!
Students can also be clipped down up to two times.  The lowest clip down is a
RAMS Gram.  This is a note home that lets you know that your child has made some not so good choices.  This note needs to be signed and returned to school the next day.
    Point System:

    4-Golden RAMS Gram
    3-Great Job
2-Ready to Learn-We all begin here each day
    1-Warning
    0-RAMS Gram

Students can clip up or down at any time of the day depending on behavior.  Where they are at the end of the day will determine the amount of points they earn for that day.  These points are averaged at the end of each month.  If a student's points do not average a 2, then they will not be able to attend the RAMS Party at the end of that month.
These points must also average a 2 in order to attend field trips.
