BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT - Tuesday, September 19 (6:30-8:30)
Please join the HHS staff next Tuesday for Back-to-School Night. Parents/guardians are welcome to attend a brief information session with building administrators from 6:30-7 or 8-8:30 in the HS auditorium. Teachers will be available in their classrooms to meet parents/guardians and share general information about their courses and classrooms. Please note that this event is not a parent-teacher conference where individual student updates or concerns are being addressed. If you would like to discuss your student's progress with a teacher, please reach out to schedule a meeting.
There will be an opportunity for any family that has not completed paperwork for a district-issued student device, updated Emergency Contact information, or Student and Parent Handbook sign-off sheet to complete these documents at Back-to-School Night.
FORBES PROGRAM EQUPMENT:
As part of their programming at Forbes, many students are given special equipment to aid in their coursework. Please note that any and all items that are permitted at Forbes but in violation of the HSD Code of Conduct (scissors, knives, blades, etc.) are strictly prohibited on Highlands transportation and school grounds. HHS administration has confirmed with the administrators at Forbes that there is never a need for students to be taking these materials outside of the Forbes classrooms.
