Welcome to 1^st Grade 

Dear Busy Bees, 

     Welcome to our first grade classroom.  We are going to do so many amazing things this year.  I can’t wait to get started.  I know that you will all grow as readers, writers, mathematicians, and thinkers this year. 

      Busy bees, our classroom beehive can be found in room 106 at Highlands Elementary School.  For the first day of school, please make sure your families have all your belongings labeled.  I have all of your supplies ready here at school, so you do not need to bring anything except yourself and your backpack. 

     I hope to meet you at first grade orientation at Highlands Elementary School on Tuesday, August 20^th  from 6:00 – 7:30pm.  I am thrilled to be your teacher and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us !  I look forward to spending the year together.  See you soon busy bees.
