Highlands Choral Students Featured in Milovats Holiday Concert at Byham
January 2024

During the holiday season, nearly 30 Highlands choir students in grades 4-8 had the unique opportunity to perform as part of the Children’s Choir for the 26th Annual Mark Milovats Christmas Wonderland Concert at the Byham Theater!
Referred to as America’s Premier Showman, Milovats is a Western PA native who returns to Pittsburgh’s Byham each year for this one-evening performance that benefits Children’s Hospital. A true crooner, Milovats has been compared by industry insiders to Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Harry Connick Jr.
Highlands 4th Grade participants were Aubrianna Kelly, Brycen Brucker, Ellie McGee, Guiliana Malta, Meili Clark, Greyson Monroe, Joshua Benson, Luciana Oddis, Lyndi Fudurich, Mallory Skwortz, Max Lilly, Olivia Naughton, Reese Martinka, Silas Kuhn, Sloan Petrak, Timothy Benson, Zane Wyant and Avery Dippel.
Highlands Middle School participants were Lilly Fox, Fiona Glath, J.B. Hood, Aryauna Kern, Hayley Koharchik, Hannah Marcy, Serenity Matthews, Ruca Tomayko, Angelia Valenti-Baker, Hadley Walter and Kendall Walter.
Many thanks to our singers and their families for making the commitment to attend three prior Saturday rehearsals in Oakland in addition to the performance! The students are under the leadership, direction and support of Highlands Elementary 4th Grade Chorus Director Mary-Parmer Keyser and Middle School Choral Director Renee Ludwig.
Thank you all for making us Highlands PROUD!
