I have taught across several grade levels and in many different capacities. I am also a graduate of Highlands High School. I received a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Nebraska, where I was member of the Cornhuskers Swim Team. I worked as a government relations consultant on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, before earning an M.A. in Elementary Education from The Catholic University of America. I completed M.A. coursework in Educational Leadership & Administration from The George Washington University and received an M.S. in Special Education from Western Governors University.
