Highlands Middle School 8th graders recently participated in an Elective Fair at Highlands High School. After an introduction by HS Principal Dr. Toole, the students rotated to eight sessions and learned about the nearly 40 elective offerings among 11 departments from the teachers who typically teach them. Students were escorted by National Honor Society volunteers who also gave them a tour of the High School.

Following the sessions, 8th graders had the opportunity to ask questions of a panel of HHS students about the elective classes, get advice about transitioning to the High School, select classes that interested them, and eat lunch in the High School's cafeteria.
