HHS Students Place at PJAS Competition

CONGRATULATIONS to three Highlands High School students who participated and placed in the Regional Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Competition at Duquesne University on February 5!

Cera Dickerson - 2nd Place in Botany
Emily Strzesieski - 2nd Place in Behavioral Science
Renee Cebula - 1st Place in Microbiology

The regional event features Middle School and High School students who have researched and completed projects in botany, biology, microbiology, behavioral science, mathematics, chemistry, zoology and engineering.

Renee will present her project titled "Bacterial Transformation Efficiency" in the State Competition in State College, PA on May 15. Good Luck, Renee!
