• Comprehensive Plan

The comprehensive planning process for school districts is an on-going practice whose primary goal is to ensure student success.  Districts are on a three-year cycle.  By involving multiple stakeholders, the process has additional benefits of increased communication and teamwork and improved efficiency and effectiveness.  Not only does a comprehensive plan help to solidify agreement around intended outcomes, it also helps to shape and guide the district’s vision in response to a changing environment.

A draft of Highlands School District's comprehensive plan for 2019 through 2022 is available below. The Highlands School Board will officially vote on the plan on November 19, 2018.
