Families Encouraged to Attend Back to School Nights

Highlands families are encouraged to visit the schools for Back to School Nights to meet teachers and principals, tour the buildings and learn about expectations for the 2025-26 school year! We look forward to seeing you!
Tuesday, Sept. 9
Highlands High School & Highlands Early Childhood Center
6:30-8:30pm
HIGH SCHOOL - The School Counseling Department arranged to have college representatives and information available from UPJ, PennWest, Slippery Rock, LaRoche, Allegheny College and the University of Toledo.
HECC - Scholastic Book Fair in the Library (cash and card accepted), Rams Keychains ($5 cash only), raffle baskets, photo and craft areas, and free popcorn for students!
Wednesday, Sept. 10
Highlands Elementary School
6:30-8:30pm
ELEMENTARY - BTS Night will also feature a Family Resources Fair, Scholastic Book Fair in the Cafeteria (cash and card accepted), Rams Keychains ($5 cash only), 2024-25 Yearbook Pickups and Sales ($17 cash only), raffle baskets, photo and craft areas, and free popcorn for students!
Thursday, Sept. 11
Highlands Middle School
6:30-8:30pm
MIDDLE SCHOOL - Students created items in the HMS Makerspace that will be available for purchase via cash or check in the library. All proceeds benefit PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) student activities.
Please note: There will be a Half Day of School for students and teachers on Friday, Sept. 12. Dismissals are as follows: High School – 11:00am; Middle School – 11:30am and HES/HECC – 12:10pm.
