Act 47 - Cyber Charter School Proof of Residency

Under Pennsylvania Act 47 of 2025, parents/guardians of students enrolled in cyber charter schools must complete an updated Charter School Enrollment Form and submit proof of residency to BOTH the cyber charter school and their school district of residence.

Initial deadline: March 1, 2026
Ongoing deadlines each year: November 1 and March 1

Acceptable residency documents include a lease or mortgage, bank statement, tax bill, vehicle registration, driver’s license/PA ID, insurance document, or official government mail (dated within three months where applicable).

Families experiencing homelessness are not subject to this requirement. This notice is being shared to ensure compliance with the new state law and avoid any disruption to enrollment or residency status.
