Tacos, Dragons & Reading Fun! 🌮🐉🔥📚

Tacos, Dragons & Reading Fun! 🌮🐉🔥📚

Second graders in Mrs. Allison Krenzer’s and Ms. Melissa McCurdy’s classes spiced up storytime with Dragons Love Tacos as part of the Bite Into Books program!

With help from Mrs. Susan Wilson of the Community Library of Allegheny Valley and reading specialist Ms. Chris Izydore, students enjoyed a lunchtime read-aloud, then got creative by making their own dragons to retell the story.

The best part? Taco names! 🌮😄 In the video below, Isabella Compton, aka Guacy Jalapeño Popper, retold what happens when dragons eat spicy salsa. Students even got to sample some hot and spicy salsa themselves—check out those reactions! 😲🔥

Don’t worry… it’s a good thing only the dragons breathe fire!
