Why is it called Step Up Day? Because our students are literally taking the next step in their educational journey!
During the last week of school, our Kindergarteners had the opportunity to "step up" into their new school, meet staff, explore the building, and become familiar with what awaits them in the fall at Highlands Elementary.
It was a wonderful opportunity for students to begin building confidence and comfort in their new surroundings before the school year begins. We loved welcoming these future first graders and can't wait to see them return in the fall, ready to learn and grow!
