HSD Communications
The dragons from Dragons Love Tacos made one final, fiery appearance, this time in Miss Emily Peters’ second grade class at Highlands Elementary!
This beloved story was part of the Bite Into Books program sponsored by the Community Library of Allegheny Valley. Youth Services Librarian Mrs. Susan Wilson and MTSS teacher Ms. Christine Izydore read to students as they enjoyed their lunch, followed by a dragon craft—and, of course, chips and salsa!
Some brave students even took on the “hot” salsa challenge. Selena Williams decided to share a bite with her dragon… and watch out—this dragon is breathing fire!
