District Approved Apps and Websites

Our district uses online learning tools, educational websites, and applications to support instruction. As part of that use, some personal information such as a student username, school email address, or device identifier may be collected by the company that operates the educational tool.

The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a federal law that gives parents/guardians control over what personal information websites and online services can collect from children under the age of 13.

Under COPPA, schools may provide consent on behalf of parents when a student uses an online service only for an educational purpose and not for any commercial use such as advertising or marketing. The district reviews the online tools we use to help ensure they meet these expectations.

This list may be updated throughout the school year. Families may review privacy notices for each tool at any time.
