Highlands Food Service is offering a Summer Food Service Program in June and July for all students. Please see the information below for details. In addition, please read over the Notification to Community.
SUMMER MENU
Highlands Elementary School (HES)
June 15 – June 30 (Monday–Thursday)
Open Site – Free meals for all children 18 and under
- Breakfast: 8:45–9:45 AM
- Lunch: 11:00 AM–12:30 PM
July 6 – July 23
Open Site – Free meals for all children 18 and under
- Lunch Only: 11:00 AM–12:30 PM
Highlands Early Childhood Center (HECC)
June 15 – July 1 (Monday–Thursday)
Open Site – Free meals for all children 18 and under
- Breakfast: 8:45–9:45 AM
- Lunch: 11:00 AM–12:30 PM
Highlands Middle School (HMS)
June 15 – June 30
- Closed Site (meals available only for Camp Creativity participants)
July 1
- Open Site (Free meals available to all children 18 and under for the Camp Creativity Culmination Event where HES students join HMS)

- Breakfast will NOT be offered during ESY (Extended School Year).
NOTIFICATION TO COMMUNITY SUMMER 2026
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), a federal child nutrition program, offers free, nutritious meals to children 18 years and younger when school is not in session. There are approximately 2,500 locations throughout Pennsylvania that serve breakfast, lunch and/or snacks. Below are the sites and offerings for children in the Highlands community.
