The Allegheny Intermediate Unit, along with regional businesses and organizations, sponsor over 30 apprenticeship programs. These apprenticeships are content specific programs in which students spend an entire school day on an average of one day per month working with professionals in the field. These are hands-on real world work experiences that allow students to be fully immersed into one of their career choices. All programs take place off campus at various locations.
