Due to occurrences of cyberbullying, Highlands High School students MUST turn off all and keep out of sight all electronic devices upon entry to the building. Students may NOT use their cell phones, iPods, iPads or any other electronic device from 7:40 a.m. until 2:35 p.m. unless given permission from a Highlands High School staff member.
Staff members will confiscate the electronic item from any student who disregards school rules. Parents will be informed of the infraction and may be required to pick up the item. If a student refuses to give up the item when asked, he/she will be subject to further disciplinary action.
Parents are asked to review this policy with your students. We also request that should you need to get in touch with your child during the school day that you contact the school office. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
