Highlands High School Library Mission Statement
The Highlands High School Library materials have been chosen to support the curriculum, stimulate individual student academic pursuits, and encourage recreational reading. The staff is committed to providing instruction in the efficient usage of the library facility, and to supervise a non-disruptive, pleasant environment while students use a variety of sources to meet their needs and interests. By linking students to these resources, the library program hopes to achieve the goal of providing a bridge between the formal, school-based learning and independent, life-long learning. It is the staff's hope that through collaborative efforts with the teaching staff, the library will be the hub of learning for all students.
