About UsHighlands School District comprises six school buildings.  In June & July 2011, the Highlands School Board approved the reorganization and re-naming of the district elementary schools. In addition, the district's Administrative Center will soon be located in C-wing at Highlands High School.
 
Highlands High School contains grades 9 through 12; Highlands Middle School houses grades 6 through 8; Grandview Upper Elementary School contains grades 3 through 5; Fairmount Primary Center & Fawn Primary Center comprise grades Kindergarten through 2; and the Heights Early Childhood Center houses Kindergarten, the Pre-K Counts Program, Head Start, and the YMCA Before/After Childcare Program. Grades K-5 receive school-wide Title I funding.
 
The district also has a maintenance building located near the High School and a Community Center near Golden Rams Stadium.
