Welcome to the exciting world of 8th grade English! This course focuses on: the writing process, expository and persuasive writing, grammar, independent research, as well as exposure to various forms of literature (short stories, novels, & plays). Students will also be challenged with SAT vocabulary words and the skills needed to prepare for a successful speech/presentation. Please check the classroom calendar for updates on homework and project due dates.
